We used this company to install some new windows, new front door, new shutters, new tin work on entire exterior, new soffit, new fascia and new roof. There were some frustrating moments dealing with supply issues with covid. Could they of done a better job commutating those delays? Probably. Was the work done really well? Absolutely. Their sales rep John was fantastic including having our roof replaced within 2 days of water damage to our newly renovated interior of the house. Their prices are competitive and the work in all areas was excellent. Recommend for sure. Thanks John!

This company will damage your property or your neighbour’s and refuse to fix it.
I recently completed a roofing project with George Kent through Rona. I spent $8,000 on this project. During the roofing, my neighbour noticed damage to his windshield and found a nail from the roof near his car. This company refused to cover the damage and stated that they are absolutely sure the nail didn’t cause this damage (what are they CSI? This is complete nonsense). Their representative told me if I wanted to I could pay to fix my neighbour’s windshield from my own pocket. Their representative was rude

Stay away from this place! What a disaster experience. Bad patio door install (Oct 2018) to start with and despite repeated visits they cant figure out what is wrong. Alignment of the two doors totally off and in winter air draft from the bottom of the door. Broke a piece of plastic and Maria promised to order and get back in April 2019. No response for 6 months and they call now to get the money and close the case. Zero customer care and Manager/owner Paul laughs at your frustration and complaints. Says he doesn't care about money and cares about customers. Meanwhile charging my CC in the background

Short version: The worst windows installer around. I would give 0 starts if it was possible. In case of the problems, the company doesn't take the responsibility, instead is looking for excuses and keeps blaming everyone, but themselves. The communication is very bad, it's almost impossible to get a straightforward answer from George Kent. They only can tell that they are in the business for many many years and that they give you lifetime warranty.
Longer version: I placed an order for windows on March 19 and at the end of October I found out that they haven't even given my order to the manufacturer

Our overall experience with George Kent has been quite positive. Starting with our sales rep Keven taking the time to guide us through our window purchase.
We ran into similar issues as others with the GreenON program due to the Ford government’s sudden cancellation of the program and unreasonable deadlines.
Through it all, the issues and aggravation created by the Ford government, George Kent Home Improvements did everything possible to respond to our concerns, emails and phone calls. They kept us informed and did everything possible to see our project to completion.

I signed a contract on March 31st for windows under the assurance that fulfillment would be between 6-8 weeks. While we had our windows measured, we have received no other helpful information. Despite proactively calling, your company has been unable to answer any questions, only that you are "behind" blaming the manufacturer, but not giving me the information to follow up with the manufacture (who by the way said they were fulfilling orders well beyond my contract date). I'm extremely disappointed with the false promise of on-time fulfillment when we were signing the contract given that your office
