Kaitlyn and Aaron did excellent work in removing my old gas hot water tank, replacing the exhaust pipe, and installing a new one. I particularly appreciated all of their efforts taken to keep my home clean, and to explain the features of the new appliance. Marie from the office was really helpful and responsive, making the whole booking and payment process very easy.

We went with Francis Plumbing & Heating to replace our old one-stage York furnace with a new two-stage TempStar furnace by Carrier and were very pleased with the service provided. We first met with their estimator, Tim, who took the time to explain the various alternatives and then gave us a good deal on the one we selected. Installation was arranged for the very next day which, in these Covid times, came as a pleasant surprise. Their installers, Josh and Kyle, were professional, knowledgeable, and proficient, arriving at 8am and had the total job done, including final clean-up, before noon. We

In December our hydronic boiler system stopped working, leaving us without heat or hot water. The Francis team was responsive to the initial repair request, and quickly recognized that a new system was required. They provided an estimate for the new boiler that day, and supplied us with space heaters. The install team (Graham, Dennis & Owen) were fantastic - knowledgable, professional, patient, and careful; taking the time to explain the system, challenges, and choices. We would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

We had an emergency situation and the Francis Team (Josh and Kyle E) were amazingly. We discussed the situation with the manager and he sent them right away to help us install a new on demand hot water tank. They were professional, efficient and very skilled at their work. We are extremely pleased!

The company offered an appointment, then confirmed the scheduled time by email and phone. The plumber arrived on time and gave an estimate for cost and date for replacement.
The replacement was carried out on the next visit.
The cost was as expected and the taps are good for another many years.
The company’s attention to the customer both in person and phone,emails was outstanding and greatly appreciated.

Paul and Terry arrived bang on time and left like elves - the work was done beautifully, but there was no other evidence that they'd been there. That can be tricky on a sloppy winter day! Had Terry come out to do a maintenance our furnace 2 days before Christmas. During the inspection he detected a CO leak and a crack on the heat exchanger. He was able to call back to the office make sure there was a replacement furnace available and got us a quote right away.
With Marie coordinating things at HQ, Josh and Kyle was out the next day on Christmas Eve installing our new high efficiency furnace. Glad Josh was on this job because he installed our new A/C in the summer of 2020, during one of our Ottawa heat waves.

I had three plumbing jobs for Francis yesterday. I received an appointment in two days. Phil and Nick arrived on time and did an excellent job. They discovered a block in the laundry room tub that was causing two problems and fixed it. They put a faucet in as well. When they left, the work area was cleaner than I had left it. They explained everything I needed and gave me a quote ahead of the work. As they left I realized I had no money for a tip and they both said thank you but that's not necessary, we just want to make sure you're happy with the work. Graham and Kyle were excellent technicians who walked me through a very complicated hot water heater installation. They were on time, very professional and answered all questions. They supplied us with space heaters to ensure we stayed warm during the installation. They even discovered a propane leak and made sure to set up a repair in the coming days. Excellent service, I will continue to work with Francis plumbing!

I told Don that I was asking for a relative who lives in another city. Obviously, this was not a case where Francis would do the work. We had to get our hot water tank replaced recently. Not because there was anything wrong with it (it was still working fine with no leaks) but because it was 13 years old and our home insurance company told us that if we didn't replace it they would no longer insure us for flooding or water damage.
We called a few places to get quotes and while Francis Plumbing and Heating was the highest quote, they seemed to us to be the most competent and they had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, so we went with them.
Overall, we were very satisfied with them. Their technicians are outstanding
