One of their trucks dangerously cut me off twice today while driving between Main Street and Victoria Road, Dartmouth. As I was taking a picture of their work truck they proceeded to give me the finger out their driver side window. If their road rage driving reflects any on the service they provide, they would be an extreme danger to your home and family.

Had a sewer back up at 5am. Wanted to charge me $500 over the phone by credit card before they ever even saw the issue. Provided me with inaccurate information as well. Hung up on me and would not answer the phone after. Ended up getting someone else in who fixed the issue within 15 minutes for $165. Do not waste your time.

I called Blackburn Bennett Plumbing & Heating Inc. for a quote and had Gaston on my doorstep within an hour. I was charged for the quote, but we were doing an extensive review of all the plumbing issues in our house, and preliminary fault-finding. On the two subsequent visits to install a new laundry tub and change the coil in our oil furnace, Gaston was punctual, professional, and worked hard until the task was completed. I appreciated the flexibility in managing my shifting schedule. Dealing with the bill payment was made especially easy by the accounting team. I will use this company again,

Yesterday I punctured a copper pipe in my ceiling installing a smoke detector. PANIC CITY! After shutting the water main off I quickly called my mother for help in contacting an emergency plumber so I could concentrate on dealing with water streaming into my basement (and on my face!) She ended up calling Blackburn Bennett and I am so glad she did.
The tech they sent to my home was Justin and he very quickly assessed the damage and replaced a small section of piping in an hour. The next hour he had to fill and purge my hydronic heating system and made sure everything was in order before finishing

Don't recommend. I needed someone to come over in morning.
I tried;
Monday Morning: "On the meeting, call you back later" they said and no call.
Monday Evening : "We don't accept reservation for next day, call next morning."
Tuesday Morning : "No plumber is available this morning, we will send you a person tomorrow morning."
Wednesday morning : "You didn't make an appointment, we will sen you a person tomorrow morning." ???
Boom!
And then, I just made a call another plumber, and he just came over in 20 min.

I had a emergency at 7:30am this morning with a blocked pipe and with sewage flooding my laundry room. This company has friendly woman who answered the phone and sent their guys to my house within the hour. The guys who did come (sorry I didn’t get your names!) were so nice and they quickly fixed the problem! Professionals. And even when my 4 year old decided to have a chat with one of them they were so kind to her! Will recommend this company

Gaston and Chris did a great job unplugging our sewer line and then chipping through the basement floor, excavating it, and replacing it with PVC and bringing it up to modern code! They hauled a ton of rock away and left it remarkably clean. They were a pleasure to have around and worth every cent for the quality of work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
