Did two jobs with Mr. Mike's, a poly B replacement and poly b main water line and sewer line. They were very friendly and professional. Happy to answer any questions about the job. They were straight forward with the costs and if anything came up they let me know what it was, and gave me options which was nice.
They take videos of the work and it is included in the final invoice which can be done over email which I personally find very convenient.
Owner came out to the job and is very easy to get a hold of and to talk to.
Overall, very impressed!

They are, in fact, too good to be true. Our water heater stopped working on a Saturday, so we looked up Calgary plumbers that came out on the weekend. We saw that Mr. Mike's did, and charged only (according to their website) $49.99 to come out + an hourly rate. A Mr. Mike's guy came out, spent a while in our basement (though not apparently unscrewing anything), and informed us we'd need a new water heater. He then gave us (an extremely high) estimate for one. And then we got the bill: a little over $400 (for telling us it was broken, which we'd already surmised since we had

My sump pump was making loud banging noises, so I called Mr. Mike's to replace the check valve with a quiet check valve. They sent two friendly plumbers who got the job done pretty quickly, but after they left I was surprised and shocked to discover two things:
1. They'd replaced my check valve with another regular check valve, not a silent one.
2. Their charge was amazingly high -- $515.
I did some research online and discovered that the check valve they installed comes in two versions, regular and silent. I went to a plumbing supply store, bought the silent version, and installed

I used Mr. Mikes to repair a clogged sink in a rental property. Originally had a technician come while I was unable to be there and was given a bill for the repairs was higher than expected. However, I reached out to the owner, and he was happy to hear my concerns and was able to give me what we both viewed as a fair price for the repair.

Great experience with Mr Mike's! Called on a Sunday morning with an active leak going, had service within an hour to repair the immediate issue with a water tank replacement and all required maintenance to fix things up completed the next afternoon. I was happy on Sunday, and blown away on Monday with the level of service I received! Thank you for teaching me so much and handling everything so quickly!

I had what I thought was an urgent situation on a Friday morning when the main drain in the house backed up. I called Mike's Plumbing and Mike actually answered at 6 am. He sent Tanner to my house by 9:00! The situation for me was pretty stressful but Tanner answered all my questions and was super patient and got the flow of the drain going again.
Wonderful service! Fast response and accurate and honest! I couldn't be more pleased with this company!

We have an older house, and have been updating bits and pieces as time allows. The other day, our bath tub faucet developed a small drip. Rather than messing around with it, we decided to update the whole assembly.
I called Mike on Saturday, and arranged service on Monday morning. He was cheerful and professional, and even though the job took longer than anticipated, he stuck with his original quote.
Overall, a great experience. Unlike some of the other plumbers we hired over the years, Mike was on time, on budget, friendly, and courteous. I will definitely give him a call again.

My 90 year old mother had a flood in her basement so I headed over there right away and once I arrived I called a few plumbers and being the weekend, I had to leave messages and Mike was the first one to call me back. He then told me what I could do to help the situation and that he would call me back in 10 minutes to let me know what time the plumber could come by that day because he had so many calls and within 10 minutes he did call back to let me know the plumber would be there in a couple of hours.
