I purchased a nice real wood looking glaminate from this store in November 2013. The product later splintered but that was not the fault of this store. The service and the sale was friendly, fast and efficient. Where my 1 star comes in is in the install and how they avoided honouring the warranty. In fairness it was their supplier who was dodging responsibility but eventually provided a resolution I accepted. Yesterday revealed more issues after I had my dw repaired. When the repairman pulled out the appliance there was no floor. No sub floor. The dw feet were supported by small scraps of wood

Wow, we went in there on a Saturday and it was quiet. There was a guy who offered to help. Imagine my surprise when he couldn't tell me the price of a carpet I was interested in. He took my name and phone number and promised to call me with a price on Tuesday - because he had Monday off. 2 1/2 weeks later - NO CALL. No thanks.

I asked Carpet Craft to come to give me a quote for a bedroom and stair carpet. I am a widow due to an horrific accident and need to do things on a budget so I was going to use my own underlay. When I said this to the person who’d come out, he was very harsh with me, saying that he wouldn’t do it, he complained that he’d come all the way from Gosport to Waterlooville and my custom wasn’t worth it. He left me sobbing my heart out, I was so shocked as I’d never been made to feel like that by someone I was trying to buy from. I would never recommend this business!

This location used to operate under Carpet Craft and Sears Flooring but is no longer part of the Sears franchise but ownership has remained the same. I went to get a quote for replacement of kitchen (vinyl) flooring with tile and replacement of living room carpeting with hardwood, including two flights of stairs to be done with hardwood.
The salesman was very professional and easy to deal with, but he is no longer at the store.
The kitchen floor was done in approximately two days. The tradesman was one of those, however, who likes to get in and get out, more interested in completing the job
