When our founders, Cam Cormode & Don Dickson, started our commercial construction business in 1962, they selected a simple, yet powerful mission statement-"make every customer a repeat customer". In every project we have taken on-from custom design/build the church and car wash construction to the erection of prefab steel warehouses and office buildings-we have chosen to continue this tradition.
Cormode & Dickson provides for all aspects of the creation, planning and execution of a construction project in whatever form of project you envision. Our talented team is capable of working in a variety of project approaches, and we strive to develop long-standing relationships and parterships with our clients.
Cormode & Dickson takes an active role in creating strategic partnerships with companies interested in cooperative arrangements in the development and execution of strategies that enable both parties to gain market advantage. They don’t pay sub trades, currently going through the court process! Put a lien on any projects you are doing and currently doing, they talk until your time is up to file a lien then the communication stops! Fraudulent company. It’ll be 2 years this summer since starting a project and not one penny paid!

We are part of the growng list of trades and suppliers that finished our tasks at loon lake and cold lake, paid for all the materials, paid our labor wages, paid travel and board expenses, signed statutory declarations and then were never paid. This dates back to 2017. Calls and requests were never returned.

This contractor has not paid at least 5 subs on a recent project. One of the subs even helped them out when one of their trades went bankrupt. They stepped in and did the job on time with no deficiencies yet Cormode & Dickson has not paid. Now the trades have to pay lawyers to try and get money they are owed.
