I called in to ask how much it’d cost to launder a shirt and dry clean a suit - mainly because I’m New to Toronto and the area and shopping for a cleaner.
The lady on the phone said she isn’t giving prices on the phone and that I should come down if I was serious. It’d be a different story if the prices were listed online. But they aren’t.
Needless to say, I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Park Avenue Cleaners has moved to Queen and Bathurst - same service and the same commitment to customer care. John and Paulette are both there to offer dry cleaning and laundry at its best. Eve is also at-the-ready for alterations - Eve also shares the excellence of the Park Avenue customer service mandate.
It is hard to find a dry cleaning depot that offers an on-site plant - Park Avenue is the real deal.

This place is a winner! The owner (“Gianni” is Greek for John) has been around a long time, but he clearly knows customer service. My cleaning task was complicated (i.e. a cloth tapestry from the 1950’s) and there was a risk that solvents would burn off the finish. Gianni was helpful, optimistic and accountable. The job was done in one day. The price was absurdly fair. And the cleaning — wow! Six decades of dust and dirt...removed. The colours are back. An absolute triumph! Bravo, Park Ave. Cleaners!

It’s been at least a year since I’ve been here, so I hope this review is still current for the personnel. I’ve mostly come here for alterations.
The seamstress here does fantastic work. That is the reason for that second star. Her tailoring is some of the best work I’ve found in Toronto. I came here on the recommendation of a owner of a high-end thrift shop (where items get tailored all the time) and her work is spot on. The items I had done are mostly women’s work clothes. She fixed a tear on a 15-year-old wool coat and you’d never be able to tell it was there. She was also realistic

CUSTOMER BEWARE. Big mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is the MOST expensive place in the city. They are located on Eastern Ave beside a mechanic and a car wash and a SUBWAY - didn't imagine. We mistakenly brought our items here (first time) and my partner didn't look at the bill. I almost lost my mind when I saw that the bill was $420 for 8 items!!!!! Yes some very minor alterations were asked (arm length shortening on two jackets) but still!!! This dry cleaning bill was as costly as the items that were purchased.

These are by far the nicest and most helpful dry cleaners I have ever come across. I brought in a winter jacket that one of my coworkers was discarding and wanted to have it cleaned before I passed it along to to one of the many homeless people that I see downtown. Not only did they do a spectacular job but they did some repairs to it free of charge when they found out where it was going. I am happy to say that the jacket is keeping a person in need very warm as I write this and it is partly thanks to Park Avenue Cleaners. I can’t thank them enough. The jacket looked like new.
