We used Effect to complete a significant exterior renovation of our home. Our experience was very good. The work was excellent and the results were all we could have hoped for. We had a positive experience working with Effect Home Builders. They designed and built our duplex in a mature Edmonton neighborhood. Their creative design included entrances that face different directions so it does not look like a duplex and enhanced the curb appeal. The building is extremely well insulated and air tight which makes it quiet, comfortable and very energy efficient. Another element of the build that we liked is that it included solar modules which generate energy every time the sun shines. We were proud when our project received a Built Green Platinum rating, which is the highest

Effect Home Builders is a very reliable and responsible builder. They built our beautiful home from scratch two and a half years ago, and up till today they still care about our home a lot. The most important aspect of Effect Home is that all three owners contribute equally to the success of our house. Dale was responsible in the design phase while Les did the budget. Effect Home Builders is a rebrand of Delight Builders. It would appear that it is a rebrand from one company to another due to the first company sinking as a result of horrible workmanship, warranty disputes and total disregard for the consumer.
Take note the majority of the 5 star reviews are the sole review of the user, and/or other reviews are all 5 star towards the same thing.... It would appear that these 5 star reviews are paid for.
Do not ever buy a home built by them, nor use them for any project. They will maximize their profit and leave you footing the bill for the shoddy construction

We’ve been in our wonderful home for about 18 months now. Effect Homes have done a truly incredible job building our very unique home. They were involved with our architects from day one to make the vision come alive. The work was professional and meticulous at every step. The quality is second to none. I can’t say enough about the integrity and commitment of everyone involved, from the owners of the company to everyone that set foot in our home from beginning to end.
