Morning of New Years Eve Day.
No hot water! Phoned 9 Plumbing & Heating Companies.
Some did not answer .. those that did said can't help until the following week.
Finally reached Harmcor and the employee did not let me off the phone until we tried some things to get the hot water tank going. It was -33C outside and he correctly sleuthed the issue and we resolved the problem 10 minutes later.
From my perspective they were the only company who cared enough to help our family out during an extremely difficult and busy time.
They now have my life time loyalty and I will

Gave me a quote for the kitchen faucet and change the guts on a bathtub faucet for $430. When he said he was done wrote up invoice for $430 paid by cheque. Didn't bother to tell me he couldn't fix the guts but wrote up a invoice. The technician went back in after I left and changed the whole faucet and charged my renter a single mother another $430. I was told she authorized the work which I knew was not true because she had told Norm to talk me before any work got done. There was no way I would have paid $900 for a kitchen and bathroom faucet. Thats definitely way over priced. I took the hit for

We had Harmcor put in a new furnace and an air conditioning unit. We were very impressed for a number of reasons. One was that we always dealt with the same person, Scott, and we came to both like and trust him. Secondly they came up with a good plan to get both heat and cool air to the whole house, something that was not that easy to do. The plan was carefully and patiently explained to us. Thirdly and perhaps most importantly, when there were some small problems Scott was back to fix them, usually the same day and at the latest the next morning. We have found that with almost any home repair

I have had a few instances over the years where my furnace will stop working on Christmas Eve or Christmas day. In an attempt to be proactive, I asked a technician from Harmcor Plumbing and Heating come service my furnace at the beginning of December. The technician was friendly, and communicated with me about what he was doing while he was there, and things I needed to follow up on for my furnace to be operating to the best of its ability.

Our furnace shut off and temperatures dropped. We called Harmcor and they came immediately. Very happy with the work Scott did, he was professional and courteous. Although plumber was friendly. I will not recommend this company. I feel that they really do overcharge and prices are not consistent. We had an issue with our toilet just a few months ago and the plumber had charge us half of what the current plumber charged with a less issue. I had anticipated that we were just going to be charge for an hour but the time he went to get the replacement of an defected item was also taken. Not happy unfortunately.

Beware of their prices... the claim they will show you "options" and prices for repairs but they don't when its a straight forward repair. We called Harmcor and told them we had a leak from a shower behind a wall and told them it was likely due to a failed o-ring or missing o-ring. We had to hire a certified plumber incase we went through insurance.
They came same day which was nice. They have a flat rate service call fee which includes diagnosis which is reasonable however once they saw it was a missing o-ring, they replaced it with one we provided and charged an additional $250 for a 30 second
