Pro Plumbing & Heating

I had difficulty with my basement in floor heating system and decided to use this company. They came essentially yearly over 4 years for the same issue with various pumps needing replacement.
One year ago they replaced a pump that had been replaced 2 years earlier. This year the same issue occurred and I felt it was the same pump that had failed in less than one year. I informed them of this and they sent someone out to see if they could warranty the pump. They felt the pump was overworked but working and were not sure why the in floor heating system was no longer working and advised me to try

Our 1st -15 in Edmonton and my furnace is not working. I called Pro Plumbing and within 5 min, I received confirmation that a technician would be at my house in less then 2hrs. Ryan was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. Prompt response from Pro Plumbing, excellent customer service with great values. They care about their customers and all the concerns you might have. Highly recommend.

No problem with the work the plumber did but be cautious about what you are being charged. Plumber hourly cost, plus a $52 "service charge" and gouging on the cost of the part (triple the cost of what I would have paid at Home Depot). When I inquired about these issues, the attitude of Rafael (I believe his name) was appalling. He abruptly, rudely stated that he doesn't set the prices. The service charge is for the plumbEr coming out - not sure how the problem could be fixed without the plumber coming out? He called back to tell me that the cost of the part was only $15 above

On the day of scheduled appointment, I got a text prior to plumber's arrival. He was very helpful and explained clearly as to what the plan was. Our hot water tank decided to fail on us overnight. In the morning I called around to various nearby plumbing service providers. Pro plumbing was very quick to respond and provided a very reasonable quote and scheduled me in for service quickly providing an hour window of when to expect the technician (not an 4-8hour window!). The technician (Ryan) arrived early and was very professional and knowledgeable! The whole process was hassle free and the price quoted was what was charged (no extra hidden costs!). I would definitely recommend to others!

Had them in to repair a basement sink that was poorly done by a previous contractor. Should have tuned in when NONE of the dogs liked him, our docile Black Lab even growled at him (something he has NEVER done before) He found a split drain pipe and had to cut the wall and replace it, had to pull the toilet and vanity off, did an acceptable job of replacing 3 feet of pipe, but was going to leave it without cleaning up AT ALL! My wife had to ask him to clean up after himself and then the pissy attitude started, we had more work he could have done but decided to cut his time, the bill was outrageous

Needed help with what I thought was an airlock in my hot water system. Saturday of the May long weekend I envisioned myself bent over a barrel... You get the picture. Steve answered my call to the Emergency #, said he could be here in an hour and sure enough he was. He quoted me the "Holy Crap I Should Have Gone To Plumbing School" first hour rate over the phone so there was no surprise. He diagnosed, repaired the physical parts and cleaned up the workspace in short order. Everything in just over a hour and billed for just the single hour as he said he should have finished faster. Given

Incompetent young workers. They just want your money and they do a very poor job with repairing.
The workers have consistently been 2-3 hours late and they still weren't able to fix much! Waste of time, waste of money. The person you communicate with on the phone to schedule appointments with is extremely rude and swears at you when HE makes the scheduling mistakes. No manners whatsoever!
Their solution is to just get a brand new part, replace the entire thing. Not reliable work. Just sketchy!

Stay away and find a more reliable business!
