My initial experience was amazing with Amy for warranty stuff, however, I have been dealing with Janie recently with big problem. She told me I have to contact a different company for my deposit back, but she was not willing to share me their contact info, and told me I have to find it on my purchase agreement, which I did and called, but that company never called me back for 3 weeks, so I emailed Janie again for the correct info or other solutions, she basically says there is nothing they can do! Now my $1500 deposit is nowhere to get! I will definitely work something out for this.

I visited the Maple Crest show home this weekend and I was blown away. I have been visiting a few show homes over the last few months and the lady I met at this show home has been one of the most experienced representatives I have met till date. Not only was she able to answer all my questions with ease but she was able to guide me and provide… advice that was much appreciated. She was beyond knowledgeable about her own product and shared that knowledge with me. I wish I caught her name but it was worth posting a review about the experience. Will be adding this builder to the roster.

Having lived through an infill project in Edmonton I have never seen such disregard for the neighbors in an established community. Loud music any time any day, side walk is impassable snow, ice, equipment and roofing till 10 pm at night and if you ask for some consideration you will see Look Master Builder true colors. I believe this is a good indicator of what you deal with should you have problems! If they really care about their reputation....

After constant looking around for a house in Edmonton for months, I absolutely love the layout of the home in Maple. All thanks to the welcoming experience and guidance provided by Dolly Chauhan at Maple Crest showhome. She helped us to make our final and most crucial decision with which we are very happy and satisfied. Out of all the floor plans we saw for a duplex, view 22 was the best and most well planned. It would definitely recommend it. Thank Dolly for being a positive support towards the purchase of my new home.

I visited the showhome recently and felt so bad as you are not even welcomed by the sales person. Moreover she is not even concerned to explain the structure or features of the house. She was least concerned about what are my requirements that i am looking in the house or no interest by her towards customers. Poorly managed by the sales person. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as if you guys arent intrested in even knowing a customers need how can we think of investing the money with you people. Worst customer service of this builder amongst everyone.

My review in July was leaning towards positives but the customer service with warranty requires more improvement. The problem I have with Look is the communication. When I raise a question, the answer is a no because it is an acceptable error within the code. When I ask about how to guide to fix miscellaneous errors, the warranty service is busy saying no instead of answering my question. That said, when the Warranty Technician comes over, I find the service sufficient (of course I am unhappy with them not being able to repair all errors but at least he provides the insight). I have yet to experience being in my new home, but after reading some the reviewers and the 1 year warranty, I am a little worried as extra expenses is not my future agenda. Homes might be beautiful but cheap quality! In the first year our drive way concrete started crumbling, we called the warranty and they blamed on Alberta weather. Second year we had water seeping in from a wall after a rain. Third year we had water damage in our bedroom. Now we found a damaged power cable from when they filled the hole after the power connection. Warranty is sluggish and not willing to support after sales. Very Shoddy!!!

I am extremely disappointed with Look Home Master Builders! We have been given the run around and offered things and then those offers just easily taken away.
We asked if we could pour our own driveway and they said yes and that the credit for this is way below what any driveway could cost. This again is crazy as it would not even cover the material costs. We asked to see a breakdown of how they got to this price and they have refused to show this to us. Because of us only trying to watch where our money goes as asking for the price breakdown they have now retracted there credit offer and said

We purchased a duplex from Look Homes in 2010. We loved the unique design that offers lots of square footage with a bonus room, ensuite etc. they had great features, and I was excited to be able to get the things I wanted for a good price.
We have lived here now for 8 months and I can say I can already see things starting to fall apart. Paint chipping off doors, floors easily scratched, and looking closer you can tell the quality of the craftmanship is low.
